York Pride is a federally registered not-for-profit. Serving 120,000 2SLGBTQ+ residents in a region of 1.2M people across nine municipalities, 45 minutes north of Toronto, we host events yearly and welcome 35,000+ festival attendees.

The Gaymazing Race | Presented by The Province of Ontario&nbsp; The route is secret. The checkpoints are hidden. The clues are already watching. Gather your team and prepare for an unforgettable adventure through downtown Newmarket as part of York Pride&#39;s Vibe With Pride celebrations. Armed only with cryptic clues, your team will race against the clock to uncover hidden locations, solve unexpected puzzles, complete bizarre challenges, and unlock the next piece of the mystery.Along the way, you may be asked to identify the unidentifiable, taste the untasteable, uncover something long forgotten, capture evidence of your journey, test your knowledge, and discover places you&#39;ve walked past a hundred times but never truly noticed. <ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Some challenges will take seconds.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Others may leave you completely stumped.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Shortcuts may exist.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Whether they&#39;re worth it is another question. </li></ul>The Gaymazing Race is free to participate in and open to all ages.&nbsp;Teams may consist of up to four participants and must register in advance.&nbsp;Space is limited, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Looking for a competitive advantage? Select checkpoints may offer optional Fast Pass opportunities, allowing teams to make a small purchase, donation, or upgrade to bypass a challenge and advance directly to the next clue.Registered participants will receive the secret starting location and final instructions prior to race day. All participants must arrive by 2:30 PM for check-in, with the race beginning at 3:00 PM. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared to walk throughout downtown Newmarket. Comfortable footwear, water, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended. The event will proceed rain or shine unless otherwise communicated by organizers.Eight checkpoints.
