It is the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action.

Together, we&#39;ll address topics and challenges impacting today&#39;s youth while providing valuable resources, encouragement, and support for a successful return to school. Join us for the ZZS 5th Annual BBQ:&nbsp;a relaxed afternoon of good food, music, and connection in support of our work to uplift women and families through service. Your support helps the Zeta Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter continue programs that promote sisterhood, scholarship, and community care. Bring your family and friends, enjoy the fellowship, and spend time with Sorors, supporters, and neighbors. PAYMENT IS NOT NECESSARY! This event is FREE to the public. ZZS 5th Annual BBQ

Take a plunge with the Zeta Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. at our 2026 Swim 1922 event, a free swim and water safety clinic for youth! 🏊🏾&zwj;♀️💙 This signature program, in partnership with USA Swimming, is designed to teach essential water safety skills, build confidence, and increase access to swim instruction in our community. During this clinic, youth will receive:&nbsp;<ul data-end="1017" data-start="868" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="906" data-start="868" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Beginner-friendly swim instruction</li><li data-end="948" data-start="907" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Water safety education and techniques</li><li data-end="1017" data-start="949" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Confidence-building activities in a safe, supportive environment</li></ul>Whether your child is new to the water or looking to strengthen their skills, this event is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun&mdash;all at no cost to families. 📍 Location: Rutherford Pool, 975 Congress St., Ypsilanti, MI📅 Date &amp; Time: Saturday, June 6 | 9:00 AM &ndash; 12:00 PM Don&#39;t forget to come wearing a swimsuit and a towel for each child participating, and for babies, please have a diaper covering! This is a outdoor pool, please bring sunscreen! *FOR PARENTS, PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR CHILD(REN), THIS IS NOT A DROPOFF EVENT* Spots are limited, so be sure to register early. Brunch is better with sisterhood.&nbsp; The Zeta Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. invites you to our 3rd Annual Brunch with the Poodles, an afternoon of great food, fellowship, and fun. For the first time, we&rsquo;re excited to open this beloved event to the public, so bring your friends, family, and Sorors and come enjoy a beautiful Sunday brunch with us. Sunday, May 17, 2026&nbsp;12:00 PM &ndash; 4:00 PM&nbsp;Thompson &amp; Co. (400 N River St, Ypsilanti, MI 48198)&nbsp;$45 per person &ndash; buffet included Come connect, laugh, and celebrate community with us. Seats are limited, so be sure to secure your ticket!
