Dreams Take Flight has partnered with Coal and Canary to create a signature candle called "Best Day Ever" with proceeds going to support Dreams Take Flight Winnipeg and their 2024 annual flight.   The "Best Day Ever" candle combines mandarin, pear, sandalwood, birchwood, and vanilla for a day that will take anyone back to their best day ever.  Our best days have always been taking special children on a once in a lifetime trip to Florida to spend a day at Disney World.   By purchasing a candle you are supporting us in providing the "Best Day Ever" for over 100 children in 2024! About Dreams Take Flight: Dreams Take Flight is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers from Air Canada employees, retirees and community volunteers in Canada and United States.  Each year we bring an aircraft of local deserving children to Disney World for the day. To date, more than 2700 children have joined us for a fun-filled adventure in Orlando!  For more information visit www.dreamstakeflight.ca About Coal and Canary Coal and Canary was started as a hobby between two best friends who were simply learning a fun new hobby together. Amanda started making candles in her kitchen with her best friend in 2014 as a fun hobby and distraction while she was recovering after suffering a near death experience, an event that ended up changing her life forever. Because C&C was founded by a woman as well as a member of the LGBTQI2S+* community, Coal and Canary has created both the space and the blueprint for these particular minority groups from the beginning. Coal and Canary strives to invite others into this space and to connect with both customers and other business owners who also identify within these groups, in order to give everyone a seat at the table. Today, Coal and Canary's mission is to bring happiness and joy into peoples lives while providing an incredible customer experience as well as an extremely high quality, hand poured product.
