NeighbourLink North York and Toronto Community Housing will be providing food items for residents of 415 Willowdale Ave. Please register for one ticket for EACH food hub distribution day for your household to let us know you are coming and so we can ensure we have food prepared for you and your household.  Email is required by Zeffy. If you don't have one, enter "fakeemail@gmail.com" when you are asked for your email.On each food hub day, please arrive at the front entrance between Building A and B (the twin white apartment buildings facing Willowdale Ave.) to check in with our staff/volunteers before entering the food hub. Suspension Policy:At our Food Hub, we strive to offer a warm and sustainable service to our local community. However, due to recent issues with residents not picking up their food, we've had to establish a new policy. If you find that you cannot attend the food hub distribution and you would like to cancel your appointment you are required to notify the food bank coordinator, Roberto, at least 7 days in advance by calling/texting 647-360-8445 or emailing roberto@neighbourlink.org. Failure to do so would count towards your potential suspension from the food hub for 3 months. Failure to cancel 7 days prior ONCE will lead to a warning. Failure to cancel 7 days prior TWICE will lead to a suspension from the food hub for 3 months. Unfortunately, due to a series of residents not showing up to pick up their food we must establish this policy. We are a small community food hub that is always striving to provide a welcoming and sustainable service to our community. It's important to note that we are not government funded. We rely on the generosity of our community and donors to operate. If you have any questions about our new policy please contact Roberto. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to serve our community better. Please self-assess for Covid and cold/flu symptoms before attending.  If you feel ill, please do not attend.  Instead, send a neighbour to pick up items for your family, or arrange an alternative option by calling/texting 647-360-8445 or emailing roberto@neighbourlink.org. Also, if you need to change your pick-up time please contact us ASAP.Please wear a mask and bring large reusable bags, a grocery trolley, and another person if available, to carry your items back to your home!
