About Our Facilitator, Tyler Hanson:

Cultural engineer and modern-day imaginer, Tyler Hanson, has spent the last 20 years traveling the world and working with creative individuals to produce extraordinary projects that combine one part Chimera and two parts imagination. Throughout his journey, he has contributed to the initiation, launch, and management of countless startups, websites, newspapers, art shows, collectives, products, festivals, and real-estate. Tyler is a multifaceted talent, known as a producer, creative director/designer, curator, social experimenter, comedian, talk show host, closet anthropologist, professional cat herder, experience economy evangelist, and an advocate for the belief that one person can change the world, incrementally.Tyler's passion has always been centered on connecting artists with projects and people with art. This exploration and collaborative experience led to the conception of Kulturehaus (KH), which operated from 2008-2020. As a gateway to the creative world, KH served as a comprehensive consulting agency that united influential artists, ideas, and rising cultural movements with integrated live events and creative environments, resulting in undeniably unique art experiences. These memorable, one-of-a-kind moments were crafted to leave a lasting impression. Tyler has utilized every communicative platform, from smoke signals to social media, and from VR and AI to the Metaverse, always aiming to be a bridge for creative minds seeking innovative projects and attracting people from around the world who strive to stand out in a loud and homogenous reality. In 2016, drawing on his extensive expertise in immersive experience, storytelling, marketing and startups, Tyler transitioned to placemaking for real estate developments eventually working for Google/Lendlease on their massive redevelopment of Downtown West San Jose project. Today, you can find him working with his Partners, The Grand Artique, on their own immersive experience in his hometown of Reno NV.
