Join Metro Theater Company teaching artists Hailey and Julia for "Stories at Play," a drama class at Dyslexia St Louis’ Tutoring Center created for students with dyslexia! Through thoughtful lesson planning that incorporates ensemble-building, drama games, improv activities, and devising techniques, we will cultivate a space of joy and play, encouraging students to take risks and build friendships with their peers. This class will culminate in a sharing of a student-created theater piece for friends and family. This class is best suited for students ages 8-11. We ask that students attend all six sessions due to the integrity of the group and the culmination of skills that will be shared with friends and family on week nine.
