We're excited to have you join us for the Greater Moncton Scottish Association's Christmas Competition.  📭   at Riverview Middle School, 45 Devere Rd, Riverview, NB E1B 2M4  on Saturday December 7, 2024. A few reminders about the day's events: SCHEDULE Doors Open at 8:00 am. Primary, Beginner and Novice registration is at 8:30 am.  Dancing starts at 9:00am with the Primary 16 Pas de Basques. Primary dancers will complete all their dances before Beginner and Novice dancing, which will start at 9:15 am with the Fa-la-la-la Trophy Fling. Primary awards to follow the Fa-la-la-la Fling. Demonstration event: will occur after completion of the morning dancing and before awards. Highland Ornament Exchange after morning awards: We would like to extend an invitation to dancers to take part in a highland ornament exchange during noon hour. If you bring an ornament, you will receive one. There is no obligation to take part. Intermediate and Premier registration is at 12:30pm.  Dancing will start at approximately 1pm with the Fling, after the ornament exchange. First and Second place Premier dancers in the Jig will dance off for the James Irving Smith Memorial Trophy.
