This is for a 2 week intensive Spanish workshop for ASL/English interpreters:June 3 - June 13 M-F 3pm - 5pm pSTThis event is virtual This course will be taught by Celena Ponce, a hearing trilingual interpreter with trilingual certification from RIT as well as a minor in Spanish in her bachelors and has State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Professional Language Certificate in Spanish.  The other instructor is Erin Sanders-Sigmon.  She is a Deaf interpreter, fluent in ASL, English, Spanish and LSRD (Dominican Republic Sign Language).  Money raised through this workshop will be used to add DIs interpreting the curriculum for us to use with our DHH youth who want to learn Spanish.  As this curriculum has been used previously at Gallaudet, we know it to be Deaf friendly..This course is for ASL/English interpreters to learn basic Spanish.
