Registration for the 2025 Jerome Rohwer Pilgrimage, May 21-24, at the Wyndham Riverfront Little Rock Hotel begins May 21, at 1:00 pm.  The registration fee includes a Welcome Dinner at the Wyndham on May 21, bus transportation to and from Jerome, Rohwer, and the WWII Japanese American Internment Museum on May 22,  refreshments between plenary sessions, and a Closing Dinner on May 24. There will be optional evening programs at the hotel. The Jerome Rohwer Committee hopes that your experience is a meaningful one!!

We are honored to showcase the Ireichō Book of Names, which honors more than 125,000 individuals of Japanese ancestry who were forcibly removed from their homes and interned in U.S. government facilities. This book will be displayed during our special services at the Rohwer and Jerome sites and the McGehee WWII Japanese American Internment Museum. On May 21 and 22, you will have many opportunities to stamp your ancestors' or other names in the Ireichō book. For more information about the history and meaning of the Ireichō Book of Names, click <a href="https://ireizo.org/ireicho/" target="_self">here</a>.We are proud to announce that Sharon Yamato, a renowned filmmaker, writer, and journalist, will present her brand-new database that will launch in May 2025 as part of the Japanese American National Museum. The new database features detailed historical information and archival and present-day photographs of the 16 temporary detention centers.  It will provide a centralized web resource for the descendants and the public to acquire previously uncollected information pertinent to the temporary detention centers.  We are honored that she will be rolling out a documentary film about the extensive research that she and Stan Honda conducted about the 16 WWII Japanese American temporary detention centers. Angelia Payne and her staff will present their updated database that contains a centralized archive of Jerome and Rohwer photos and documents with searchable metadata, a series of interactive maps focused on the incarceration period of 1942-1945, and an explorable 3D model of a barracks block at Rohwer. In addition, Rising Above staff will offer attendees the opportunity to scan old photos and related materials from U.S. concentration camps into digital format for personal use. Their staff graciously will not charge our attendees for the service.
