🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Faith Christian Church Of Mauston fundraising event. It's an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission in being God's Hands and Feet while supporting discipleship and mission work with our Masters Commission partner church in Peru! During the 2024 April mission trip to Peru, we partnered with Nueva Vida Church and Pastor Jose, where we were able to disciple to the community. This community lives out of dirt huts, carries jugs of water on their heads for miles to be able to bathe and quench their thirst, and hopes for their next meal. Many youth who the mission team interacted with, started working in the rice fields at the age of 4.  With Pastor Jose's guidance, the Faith Christian Church mission team and Masters Commission students, created food bags to be distributed out to local families, connected and ministered to youth, and distributed Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to multiple rural school children-for some, this was the first gift this child had ever received. The community, although impoverished, has hope because they see a light from the work God is doing through Nueva Vida and Pastor Jose.  Pastor Jose's goal is to build a building complex to house the Masters Commission students and more missionaries. The complex will be surrounded by avocado groves, a pond with fish and fields of corn. These resources will be shared with the community and will be used for the students to accumulate some income to support their work of creating disciples. The complete complex will cost $30,000 and Pastor Jose has complete faith that God will provide! Once this complex is built, this can be a local gathering place to share food, water, clothing, shelter, and most importantly God's word. All of the funds raised during the Noche Para Peru fundraiser will be donated to Pastor Jose's mission to fulfil God's word, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."   During this event, you will be entertained by a guest speaker, and music and you will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction with extravagant gifts. We encourage you to make this event your Valentine date night, your corporate empowerment activity, your community outing, or your opportunity to make a worldly and Godly difference.  When you attend, you will have a choice of two traditional (and tasty) Peruvian dishes, desserts, sodas and appetizers while you enjoy the entertainment and learn more about the impact you can make around the world.  Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all.
