La Fundación de Educación Agrícola de la Oficina Agrícola del Condado de Solano organizará el primer evento anual Spray Safe el martes 19 de febrero de 2025 en la Feria de Mayo de Dixon, la inscripción comienza a las 7:45 a.m. y la capacitación comienza a las 8:30 a.m. La capacitación ofrece Unidades de Educación Continua para los asistentes elegibles, tendremos capacitación en español disponible al mismo tiempo. Los PCA, aplicadores, productores, propietarios y operadores deben asistir a este programa de capacitación de una mañana que se centrará en los incidentes de prevención de la exposición a pesticidas. La misión de Spray Safe es "fomentar la aplicación segura de productos químicos agrícolas a través de la educación y la comunicación y cooperación entre agricultores" También es una excelente manera de mejorar la comunicación entre los productores, los aplicadores de productos químicos y los empleados agrícolas.  Para más información en este taller en español, comuníquese con Imelda Muzio al 530-848-0998. The training offers Continuing Education Units for eligible attendees, we will have Spanish training available at the same time. PCA's, Applicators, Growers, Owners and Operators should attend this morning-long training program that will focus on pesticide-exposure prevention incidents. The mission of Spray Safe is "To encourage the safe application of agricultural chemicals through education and farmer to farmer communication and cooperation" It is also an excellent way to improve communication among growers, chemical applicators and farm employees.  For more information in this workshop in Spanish contact Imelda Muzio 530-848-0998.
