How do the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ shape our daily lives through Fiqh? And how has the Sunnah been preserved and understood across generations? At the Legacy of Light Conference (LLC),&nbsp;scholars will introduce us to the foundations of Hadith studies and the rigorous methodology through which the Sunnah has been preserved, studied, and applied. We will explore the structure and terminology of Hadith, its role within the Hanafi and Maliki schools of law, and responses to modern critiques of Hadith. Ultimately,&nbsp;this conference aims to help us develop a deeper appreciation for the authenticity and preservation of Hadith and build a meaningful relationship with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. Hadith is not merely a historical discipline; it is a living source of guidance meant to shape our character, worship, and relationship with Allah. We hope to benefit the Rutgers community and beyond by offering both clarity and connection&mdash;helping you become more familiar with our local scholars and introducing you to the various classes and events we hold throughout the semester. Registering is the first step toward strengthening our connection to the Deen through qualified scholarship and learning how to bring the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ into our daily lives.<p fr-original-style='margin:0px 0px 12px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;font-width:normal;font-size:20px;line-height:normal;font-family:"Times New Roman";font-size-adjust:none;font-kerning:auto;font-variant-alternates:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;font-variant-position:normal;font-variant-emoji:normal;font-feature-settings:normal;font-optical-sizing:auto;font-variation-settings:normal;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);width:100%;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0);' style='margin:0px 0px 12px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;font-width:normal;font-size:20px;line-height:normal;font-family:"Times New Roman";font-size-adjust:none;font-kerning:auto;font-variant-alternates:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;font-variant-position:normal;font-variant-emoji:normal;font-feature-settings:normal;font-optical-sizing:auto;font-variation-settings:normal;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-color:rgb(0, 0, 0);width:100%;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0);'>Speakers: Shaykh Murabit Benavidez Mufti Muajul Chowdhury Mawlana Yousuf Ghouse Dr. Mateen Khan
