Our teachers and volunteers cultivate creativity in costume design with our students. This donation will support fabrics, decor, paper and ribbons for our students to create a costume for performances.

The HBCU College Tour encourages our older DAWN students to see themselves in higher education. This contribution will allow ten students to attend this trip.

Our dedicated staff of teachers at the Dodwell house spend their time and kindness with our students. Often they bring their own supplies at their own expense. This donation will support a teacher for classroom supplies.

A major part of our mission is ending cycles of poverty, so to ensure that we often accommodate for our families who have multiple students and/or can't afford the full supplies and cost. Your donations go to closing that gap in funding so we can continue to break those cycles of poverty. This amount covers one of three semesters

Every day of program our students receive a hot meal before returning home. This contribution amounts to one week worth of meals.

Our students get picked up from school, brought to the program, and transported home for every day of program. Transportation is available for all students to make the programming accessible. This contribution goes toward continuing the access of transportation at no extra charge to all of our students.

We encourage all of our students to participate in learning at least one instrument with the program. This contribution goes toward fixing current instruments and replacing older ones.

This amount covers the entire summer schooling.

Once our students practice for their next performance this donation covers production costs such as lighting, set building and acoustics. This sponsorship helps provide resources for the students to learn and build their next performance!

When our students participate in a musical performance, this donation supports their production costs. Often these costs can include music, rehearsals, travel and more.
