Mount Ellis Elementary in partnership with Haven is excited to present our 2024 Cubs 4 Change! This year we will be doing a 5K! The proceeds will be split 50-50 between MEE and Haven.  Haven is a local women’s shelter that is doing amazing things in our community.  The “Cubs for Change” event will be held on October 25th. It will begin here at the elementary school at 8:00 am with registration and worship. At registration each participant will receive a free T-shirt Sponsored by Bridger Orthopedics. By 8:30 am we will transition to the Mount Ellis Academy campus’ walking trail. We will walk laps from 9:30-12:00 pm. At 11:00 am we will clean up and head back to the school for an “awards ceremony.” There are several ways to support the fundraiser. Students will walk for free and receive a free T-shirt. This is counted as a day of school. Families and friends of MEE students can also choose to walk and/or sponsor a student walking. For every participant who chooses to walk there is a registration fee of $15. Each registered participant receives a T-shirt! Registration for all participants must be completed in the link accompanying this email. We will use the updated flyer in this email for the donation site as well. Each person participating, including students must be listed in the registration information for the family, along with their T-shirt sizes. Non-student participants have not completed registration until their registration fee has been received. We must receive all registration prior to October 10th so we will have the time to get the shirts printed before the event. Students can get sponsors from friends, neighbors, and family members. Each student will try to get as many sponsors as possible as there is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize for the highest earners.
