The Bangor Historical Society proudly presents a spine-chilling movie night under the stars at the historic Mount Hope Cemetery.  Get ready to experience the hair-raising atmosphere as we feature Stephen King's iconic masterpiece, Pet Sematary.  This year marks the 35 anniversary of the filming, and we have a special treat for you.

Did you know that a bone-chilling scene from Pet Sematary was shot right here at Mount Hope Cemetery?  Join us as we celebrate this eerie connection and immerse ourselves in the world of Stephen King.

Special silent auction items will be available.  

People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.  SEATING IS NOT PROVIDED.

Parking for the event is located at United Technologies Center at 200 Hogan Road in Bangor.  To ensure comfort and convenience, buses will be available to transport attendees to and from Mount Hope.  PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE CEMETERY.  Bus transport for the film will start at 6:30PM.  Handicap parking is available on site, please contact us at 207-942-1900 for more details.  If you wish to be dropped off/picked up there will be an area outside of the cemetery's State Street gate.  

The movie will be shown on the grassy left side of the main cemetery entrance.
