We are excited to formally announce that the Beefsteak Dinner is returning after a 2 year hiatus.  Please join the John Day’s Bridge Society on Saturday, January 21, 2023 for the 6th annual Men’s Beefsteak Dinner. The John Day’s Bridge Society was founded in 2016 by a group of men looking to advance a charitable agenda under the auspices of general social comradery.  Nearly 100 good men have come together in each of the last five years and all agree that the Beefsteak is a fine tradition. More importantly, this group has donated $15,000 to great causes after each of our first five dinners.The 2023 Dinner Committee (Alex Ackermann, Frank Engelkraut, Mike Fedyna, Peter Flynn, Tom Leahy, Tom Mierkiewicz, Jon Monks and Andy Pyper) invites you to assemble for the benefit of the Michael Pacchia Family Trust.  As we all unfortunately know, our friend, neighbor, father and husband Mike Pacchia was involved in a tragic accident earlier this year.  As Mike was a past Beefsteak Dinner attendee, we are pleased to honor his memory while raising a glass with friends in support of the Pacchia Family Trust. Please note that if you cannot attend the Beefsteak Dinner, please consider making a donation to the trust via Venmo @PacchiaFamilyTrust to honor Mike's memory.  Some other notes on the event:In addition to a charitable contribution, the cost of admission to this event includes an all-you-can-eat Beefsteak Dinner, beer, wine and soft drinks.If you haven't been to a Beefsteak Dinner and want to learn more, you can follow this link to an article on the subject: <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/30/dining/30beef.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0" target="_blank">http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/30/dining/30beef.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0</a>Dress code: Jacket Required We hope you can make it!Cheers,John Day's Bridge SocietyHere is more information ...
