The Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club is holding an open house Sunday June 16, 12pm to 5pm. Come join us for a FREE paddle on Burnaby Lake!  Try out a recreational canoe or kayak, step into a dragon boat or watch the club’s sprint boats demonstrate some quick, fun race action.Test your paddle skills on the calm Burnaby Lake waters, and learn about the many opportunities the club offers through summer camps, for children aged 8 and up, groups training and team building opportunities.S﻿ign-up for a 1-hour FREE opportunity to paddle with us as #wepaddleBurnaby! Thank you to our partners: Canoe Kayak BC, City of Burnaby and ParticipACTION. *All information gathered is essential for insurance coverage purposes.**This event is mostly suitable for ages 6 and up with parent accompaniment. Given the safety liabilities around water and limited life jacket (PFD) resources, we may not be able to accommodate all of our younger participants.***All participants must wear life jackets (PFD) during dockside and on water paddling activities. We encourage you to bring your own life jacket (PFD) if you have one.
