Friday Dessert and Coffee Fellowship Only

The 2025 convention will be held at the Hamilton Eye Institute (HEI) located at 930 Madison Ave (3rd Floor) in Memphis TN. Most of the convention activities will be held on the 3rd in the Freeman Auditorium.  When selecting a ticket, please choose the one that matches your attendance desires. Registration must be received by Sunday 2/16; Food options will not be available after 2/16. There will also be a silent auction during the Saturday events. Schedule of Events:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Friday, Feb 21 at 2PM - Tour of HEI by one of their world-renowned doctors. This is an optional add-on for the convention with no additional fee. The tours will last between 45 to 90 minutes, maybe even more based on the headcount and questions. There will be a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. Feel free to dress casually in your favorite Lion gear.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Dinner on your own, Memphis has some great restaurant options.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Friday, Feb 21 at 8PM - Dessert and Coffee reception for ID Chris Carlone and his wife, Lion Kathy. This is an optional add-on for the convention with a minor fee to cover the cost. We will have some tasty treats for you to enjoy. They will most likely be cupcakes and cookies. We will also have some awesome coffee to enjoy. DG Scott is a true coffee snob, and he believes in only the best coffee. There will also be soda and water for those that don't like coffee. If you would like to BYOB, please feel free.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Saturday, Feb 22 at 8AM - Registration and fellowship will start on the 3rd floor outside of the Freeman Auditorium. There will also be light breakfast snacks with coffee, juice, water, and soda.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Saturday, Feb 22 at 9AM - Convention start time. During lunch, we will be serving Memphis BBQ which will include pulled pork, pulled chicken, spaghetti, BBQ beans, coleslaw, buns, BBQ sauce, and a dessert.</li></ul>Guest Speakers:<ul><li>International Director Chris Carlone of Louisiana - ID Chris has served 17 years as the CEO of the Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation.</li><li>CEO Lion Brad Baker - Lion Brad serves as the CEO of the Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Services in Memphis.</li><li>Lion Stephanie Jones - Lion Stephanie is a member of the Bartlett Lions Club. She is visually impaired and has an amazing story about her journey into the new world of Blindness.</li><li>(Tentative) Federal Judge Mark Norris - Hon. Mark currently sits on the West Tennessee Federal Court bench. He has been a longtime supporter of the Lions of Tennessee and a friend of DG Scott. He will be conducting the official welcome to Memphis.</li></ul>Hotel Information:The official hotel is the Holiday Inn Express located at 1180 Union Ave in Memphis. It is less than a mile from the Hamilton Eye Institute.
