IMPORTANT! Unlike other platforms that impose fees ranging from 3-10%, Zeffy stands out as the sole fundraising tool guaranteeing that 100% of your payment directly benefits Southeast Seattle Education Coalition for distribution to farmers and schools, without any deduction for transaction fees. Zeffy operates solely on contributions from supporters like you.

SESEC is collaborating to enhance equitable fundraising and allocation within PTA/PTSA/PTO networks within SPS. This initiative is spearheaded by CANNSPA, WSPS Equity Fund, and SESSFA, all established to address systemic issues hindering equitable access to the benefits of robust fundraising and distribution for children. Despite the presence of these three organizations, there exists significant variance in the fundraising capacity of parent groups, resulting in the accumulation of opportunities by some. It's worth noting that forty (40) PTA/PTSA/PTO entities within the SPS district have aligned with CANNSPA, WSPS Equity Fund, or SESSFA. **When a supporter selects one of the 40 member schools during checkout, the $10 contribution will be consolidated for CANSSPA, WSPS Equity Fund, or SESSFA. These parent organizations will then distribute the received funds following their equitable models among their member schools.**

CANSSPA member schools: Leschi, Lowell, Loyal Heights, Sacajawea, Stevens, Viewlands, Wedgewood, West Woodland, James Baldwin, McDonald

WSPS Equity Fund member schools: Alki, Arbor Heights, Concord, Gatewood, Genesee Hill, Highland Park, Lafayette, Pathfinder, Roxhill, Sanislo, West Seattle, Stem, Fairmont

SESSFA member schools: Aki MS, Beacon Hill International, Dearborn Park, Dunlap, Emerson, Graham Hill, Hawthorne, Kimball, John Muir, Maple, Mercer MS, MLK Jr, Orca K-8, Rainier View, Rising Star, Southshore, Wing Luke

https://www.elcentrodelaraza.org/jose-marti-child-development-center/ The José Martí Child Development Center (JMCDC) is a community-based program that serves children ages 15 months to 5 years old. Its bilingual, bicultural curriculum emphasizes cultural diversity, social justice, and family involvement in order to develop children’s self-awareness, cultural pride, and self-esteem, which is combined with age-appropriate developmental activities in the four domain areas of development (cognitive, social/emotional, physical, and language) to adequately prepare children for kindergarten. JMCDC was founded in 1972 with the inception of El Centro de la Raza. The José Martí Child Development Center has three locations with several other sites opening over the next few years. The main location is on Beacon Hill in its historic schoolhouse building and the adjacent Plaza Roberto Maestas facility. Its satellite locations are in the International District at Hirabayashi Place and in the Roosevelt Neighborhood at Cedar Crossing.
