Community Music School of Santa Cruz is pleased to bring back two days of music workshops June 10th–11th for players of traditional Celtic, Swedish, Canadian, and Americana music. The program will take place on the Monte Vista Christian School campus (between Corralitos and Watsonville), and is open to musicians ages 18 and up. Redwood Music Camp offers over 30 workshops for players of fiddle, guitar, harp, Irish flute, penny whistle, concertina, Irish tenor banjo, dulcimer, and mandolin; singers are also welcome. Back this year are introductory classes for harp, mountain dulcimer, and bones; instruments for these classes will be provided. Each day will include three time slots for workshops plus a lunch break, and end with a choice of facilitated sessions (slow and fast). Workshops will be held either outside in shady locations or indoors. On-site overnight lodging is available Saturday evening.
