Honorary members are not involved with CCBI as workers, clients or collaborators. Interested in the goals and activities of the organization, these members pay a yearly membership fee to support the organization's mandate and mission. During this meeting, they must be given the opportunity to defend themselves. The Board of Directors may automatically expel a member if they have not paid their membership fee within three (3) months from the date it was due.

However, they may regain their membership after rectifying the situation and paying any arrears if required by the Board of Directors.<p style="font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;margin:0px;line-height:1.5;max-width:100%"> <p style="font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;margin:0px;line-height:1.5;max-width:100%">Suspension or Expulsion<p style="font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;margin:0px;line-height:1.5;max-width:100%">The Board of Directors may reprimand, suspend, or expel a member who has breached the regulations of the Association or who has jeopardized the interests of CCBI through their activities or behavior. Prior to taking any action, the Board of Directors must send the member a letter or sent by  any other notification processes, as stipulated by the Quebec’s Code of Civil Procedure,  to notify them of the following information: the charges against them, the date, time, and location of the meeting where their case will be discussed. During this meeting, they must be given the opportunity to defend themselves. The Board of Directors may automatically expel a member if they have not paid their membership fee within three (3) months from the date it was due.
