The breadth of his experience ranges from regional depositional systems characterization and risking, through play and prospect reservoir characterization and risking to production – scale reservoir description and trouble shooting. He has worked both siliciclastic and carbonate depositional / reservoir systems over his career, including time in the ExxonMobil URC Carbonate Group as well as teaching and research on Permian Basin carbonates at Texas Tech. He is currently a Senior Advisor (Geology) at Hess Corporation
