However, after more than years of giving this scholarship, it has made us also reflect on the additional value of soccer. <p style="box-sizing:inherit;width:1056px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:0.25px;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;margin:0px;line-height:1.5;max-width:100%">We originally targeted soccer players for our scholarship, because of our son, Gregg’s love for the game. . .and knowing that only the very top players will get any athletic scholarships for the sport. They can release emotions playing the game. They must keep their grades up to play in high school. It gives them a positive peer group. . .and a way to expend their youthful energy.
