Join us for an evening of celebrating Athens County's community-driven, independent local newsroom. 

This event will feature locally sourced food and beverages, live music, speakers and more — all at the Zenner House. Gather to celebrate your support and the successes of Southeast Ohio Independent News and its mission to bring accessible, sustainable journalism to Appalachian Ohio. Musical acts include local bluegrass/folk groups the Corndoggers and Lazy Susan. Our headliner, the Possum Queens, are joining us from Lexington, Kentucky!

Accessibility is limited at the Zenner House, especially indoors, where one to three stairs separate each room. The event will largely take place outside. Most seating will be under a tent on the lawn. Entering the lawn from the back entrance of the venue requires navigating a short but rather steep slope (stairs available); or, via the front entrance, steps from the sidewalk up onto the front lawn.Zenner House staff will be available to guide people who use mobility devices around the property.
