Join the Schiller Institute NYC Chorus for a Christmas Concert and Reception celebrating its 10th Anniversary as a NYC community chorus. The program features the Mozart Coronation Mass, K. 317, and includes excerpts from Handel's Messiah along with a selection of Christmas Spirituals and Carols.Since our first impromptu Messiah Sing-Along Concert in December 2014, dedicated to “The Sanctity of Every Human Life,” the Schiller Institute Chorus has been performing and organizing for peace and harmony in the nation and the world wielding the power of classical art to help bring humanity together through a dialogue of cultures.There will be a special reception with refreshments and a delightful display of this first decade of community-based action in classical music.See you there!
