Margaret Unframed 16"x20" Framed 17"x 21" From the SeriesTRACKRECORD (2000–2002) The Trackrecord series was photographed at the Hastings Racecourse in Vancouver, B.C. Dina first visited the track early in her career and instantly fell in love with the gambling culture, made up of the classic characters, people whom she went on to document over a period of two years. Dina photographed all her subjects against the colourful blue walls of the track. In between shoots Dina was taught how and why to bet on certain horses and their jockeys. From home videos of her creating her own performances for her family, to singing in after school programs (Lindbjerg Academy of performing arts, Arts club thestre intensive, gotta sing gotta dance to name a few). Natasha then followed her training and love of her musical theatre background to Toronto Ontario, and studied at Sheridan College in the performance arts program.
