The law enforcement front line emergency medical response course is an innovative training program for sworn peace officers which interweaves classroom learning, hands-on skills building, and reality-based training scenarios designed to enhance officers&#39; lifesaving skills under stress. The course provides up-to-date science and research to ensure law enforcement is provided with high-performance training needed for incorporation in the field.&nbsp; This training is being offered as a 1-day course on two different dates to train more of Hawaii&rsquo;s law enforcement personnel. The training is designed for sworn front line law enforcement and provides students with realistic field conditions, stress inoculation, proficiency evaluation, and development to enhance lifesaving skills for time-sensitive medical emergencies. This course utilizes experienced evaluators, live role players, high-fidelity feedback manikins, training AEDs, bleeding simulators and more to evaluate and enhance participants&rsquo; skill set. The course is comprised of a classroom learning phase, hands-on skills-building phase, and reality-based training scenarios. Lunch is provided and this training is being donated by Griffith Blue Heart Nonprofit and AED Institute of America thanks to the generous sponsorship by Philips, WorldPoint and First Tactical.

This Training has been sponsored and donated to you generously by Philips, WorldPoint and First Tactical.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This is a physical course, and you will need to bring your duty belt, vest, and handcuffs with cuff key to the training. You will go through a classroom learning phase, hands on skills-building phase, and reality-based training scenarios where you will put your lifesaving skills to the test under realistic field conditions. Weapons will not be authorized during the execution of the field scenario portion. Blue training guns, training AEDs, emergency hemorrhage control gear, training Narcan, and other medical supplies will be issued and returned in training.&nbsp; Your name will be added to the roster for base access. When you arrive at the base gate, you will need to present your credentials to the Sentry and they will verify you are on the roster. There is no address for Hangar 54 or Building 39 where we are conducting the training. Students can use Google Maps and use the &ldquo;Pearl Harbor Hangar 79&rdquo; coordinates as a means to arrive to the vicinity of the destination. The buildings are clearly marked and numbered. Once you clear the Pearl Harbor Hangar 79, you will arrive to the open parking lot adjacent to Hangar 54 and building 39. There is ample parking available in the lot.
