Downingtown East High School Home & School AssociationBi-Annual Outdoor Market Guidelines<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">9am to 1pm on May 3, 2025</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Rain date, May 4 (we will email you in case of a rain postponement)</li></ul>About the Outdoor Market: <ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">The parking lot will be divided between yard sale vendors and professional vendors.  </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">The DEHS Outdoor Market will be a fun, free admission event for our community to support.  We will have families from the Little League across the street, thru traffic from 113, neighborhood and hobby market and yard sale attenders eager to shop.  We will also be using paid social media ads and have signs around the community for a week prior to the event.  We encourage you to share it on your social media as well!</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">The Epicurean Garage food truck will be onsite.</li></ul>Space Setup:   <ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We require everyone to be set up and ready for opening by 8:30 a.m. on the day of the show.  We will be there at 7am to begin welcoming you.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Please pull into the student lot (Lot closest to Uwchlan Ave/113) to unload your vehicle.  </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">We do not have enough volunteers to offer assistance so be sure to bring as much help as you need.  </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Vendors will be directed where to unload their tent/tables and will line their tents up directly next to one another as assigned by the attendant as you arrive.  </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Once unloaded, please drive your vehicle to the upper (main lot) and walk back down the stairs by the tennis courts to set up your booth.  Only vehicles with accessible parking placards may park in the market lot designated spaces.</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">This is our first outdoor market.  As such, we have made it very affordable and will have no restrictions on categories.   </li></ul>Some of the nitty gritty:No vehicle will be allowed into the market after 8:30 am.  Vendors who are late will forfeit their registration fee.If you have purchased a space but cannot comply with our show schedule, notify dtowneasthomeandschool@gmail.com IMMEDIATELY, as any unoccupied spaces will be resold.  After set-up, we ask that you remain open until the published close time.  If you close early without a documented emergency, you will incur a deposit for all future markets or not be allowed back.Food and Beverage:  Food and beverage is to be sold by food vendors, ONLY.  If you wish to carry any packaged items (chips, cookies, gum, etc.) it must be approved.Illegal Goods and Prohibited Items:  No illegal goods of any kind are to be sold on school property.  Prohibited items:  fireworks, drugs or drug paraphernalia, alcohol for sale, counterfeit items of ANY kind (clothes, purses, jewelry, DVD’s, etc.).  Any discovery of illegal goods will be reported.  Please be respectful of our family atmosphere and do not bring any items depicting profanity.  Clean up:  Please leave our lot as you found it.  All trash and items from your area should be taken with you.   For the sake of efficiency, we ask that all booths be broken down completely before bringing your car into the lot.   All booths are $25.  All proceeds benefit the DEHS HSA supporting our teacher appreciation events, high risk students, scholarships, sober post prom party and so much more!
