La projection sera suivie d'une discussion collective avec Yara!  À propos du film:  1 heure, 30 minutes. 1984. En arabe avec des sous-titres en anglais.Palestine/Royaume-Uni/Liban/France/Belgique/Pays-Bas/Suisse. Leila and the Wolves met l’accent sur le rôle des femmes palestiniennes et libanaises dans la lutte pour la libération. Dans le film, Leila voyage à travers le temps, du mandat britannique sur la Palestine à l'occupation israélienne du Liban en 1982, mêlant mémoire et mythe. S’appuyant sur des documents d’archives, le film se présente comme une œuvre de cinéma anticolonial et d’historiographie féministe. Tous les fonds iront à des initiatives indépendantes de confiance sur le terrain et d'entraide: pour Emné, Anti-Racist Movement Lebanon qui soutient les travailleuses migrantes domestiques et Sudan Solidarity Collective.  Suggestion de 15$. Palestine/U.K./Lebanon/France/Belgium/The Netherlands/Sweden.  Leila and the Wolves centers Palestinian and Lebanese women’s roles in the struggle for liberation. In the film, Leila travels through time, from the British Mandate of Palestine to the occupation by Israel of Lebanon in 1982, weaving together memory and myth. Drawing on archival materials, the film stands as a piece of anti-colonial cinema and feminist historiography. All funds will go to trusted independent initiatives on the ground and mutual aid: for Emné, Anti-Racist Movement Lebanon who supports migrant workers and Sudan Solidarity Collective.  Suggested donation of 15$.
