You&rsquo;ll dive into the secret world of animal instincts and behaviors through fun, engaging activities. Get up close with wild birds! We&rsquo;ll observe their behavior in real time and explore morphology by measuring and comparing the shapes and sizes of body parts&mdash;using both live and preserved bird specimens. We also will welcome you to our legendary Fruit Fly Lab! Join us for fun experiments and observations in the lab, where you&#39;ll study the tiny but mighty fruit fly. These little creatures are key to understanding behavior and physiology&mdash;and they&rsquo;re fun to work with, too. You&rsquo;ll get hands-on experience observing and recording traits, feeding the flies, and discovering how they help scientists explore the natural world. We&#39;re excited to have you join us for a fun and engaging experience filled with hands-on activities, creative challenges, and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn. Camp runs daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with drop-off beginning at 8:45 AM and pick-up between 3:45 and 4:15 PM. Lunch and snacks are included with registration. Please note that some activities may take place outdoors, weather permitting. We recommend packing sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and any other personal items you might need for time outside.
