Come spend five unforgettable days under the wide-open sky at Happy Canyon Ranch, located on the majestic Uncompahgre Plateau just outside Telluride, Colorado.&nbsp; This unique Father-Son Retreat blends rugged adventure, hands-on learning, and heartfelt bonding in one of the most beautiful wilderness settings in the Rockies.Over the course of the week, fathers and sons will:<ul data-end="1069" data-start="605" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="707" data-start="605" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Learn to build SuperAdobe shelters (earth-based &ldquo;mud huts&rdquo;) using ancient and modern techniques.</li><li data-end="777" data-start="708" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Camp together under the stars, with tents and showers provided.</li><li data-end="857" data-start="778" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Explore the high desert landscape, identifying native plants and animals.</li><li data-end="981" data-start="858" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Prepare fresh meals, share stories around the fire, and take time to reflect on what it means to be men of character.</li><li data-end="1069" data-start="982" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">End with a Jeep tour through the mountains for a final dose of awe and adventure.</li></ul>This experience is intentionally rustic&mdash;designed to teach outdoor skills, deepen relationships, and create space for lasting memories. Each participant will receive a published workbook to take home as a keepsake and guide for future adventures. The retreat is open to sons of any age, with a recommended range of 6 to 13 years old. The cost is $650 per father-son pair, covering all meals, tent, gear, performance SPF shirt, materials, instruction, and Jeep rental (Valid Driver&#39;s license required).-Airport pickup is available for those flying into Montrose Regional Airport &ndash; MTJ.
