This is the harsh reality for thousands of teens aging out of the Foster Care system. Enter The Move-In Day Mafia (MIDM)! An army of volunteers who will deploy to HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) with the sole mission of providing dorm room makeovers to the freshmen who have aged out of foster care and need our ongoing support. Did you know that while 70% of kids in foster care dream of going to college, only 3% get to see their dreams realized? Therefore, those who go to college are already beating the odds. So yeah…they need us.  And you can help! By buying a raffle ticket, you not only get a chance to win $500, but you’re also helping us provide much-needed support for deserving students. All proceeds go towards supporting the students who benefit from The Move-In Day Mafia with the primary mission of disrupting the Foster Care to Prison Pipeline and replacing it with the Foster Care to HBCU Graduate Pipeline!
