Come be a part of poetry on an epic scale! Icarus, Falling of Birds&nbsp;is an outdoor performance inspired by the book by the same name by photographer, Thaddeus Holownia and poet, Harry Thurston. In September of 2013, thousands of migratory songbirds perished after being lured like moths to a flame to a hundred-foot-high flare at the Canaport Liquefied Natural Gas plant in Saint John, New Brunswick.&nbsp; This unique experience features a reading by the poet, a performance by string trio of a new work by Blue Lobelia, a youth ensemble of performers, and large-scale puppets by North Barn Theatre.&nbsp; Friday August 22nd is our Preview performance. - This performance involves walking on gravel and grass paths between &#39;acts.&#39; There is limited seating availability.
