To that end, we are beginning a series of Traditional Arts classes to encourage more participation within this space as it takes shape to become a working studio. </p><p style="margin:0px;width:100%;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"><br /></p><p style="margin:0px;width:100%;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Our second class in our series is on linoleum printmaking. Also referred to as linocut, or linoprint. This process is a slightly more modern take on wood block carving printmaking. In one class we will plan to create a design, transfer our design to our linoleum block, and immediately begin carving. For most, their first project will be ready by the end of class.  This class is especially good for folks who would like to make their own handmade cards, or wrapping paper. But this skill set is a fantastic stepping stone to handmade rubber stamps, home decor and so much more.  </p><p style="margin:0px;width:100%;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)"><br /></p><p style="margin:0px;width:100%;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">*We <u>will provide</u> the kit above as part of your registration fee, which you will be able to take home with you to continue your journey. Otherwise we will need to use carbon transfers which are less perfect. You may wish to have 2-3 ideas to carve.
