This is your official invitation to the Polaris Music Prize Long List Announcement event presented by Canada Council for the Arts, where Polaris will reveal the 40 nominated albums in consideration for the 2025 album prize. Polaris will also be sharing a number of special announcements you won't want to miss.  Each year, a jury of music critics from across the country select the 40-album Long List, 10-album Short List, and one Polaris Prize winner, based on artistic merit alone. The winning album will be announced at the Concert &amp; Award Ceremony, powered by FACTOR, on September 16th at Massey Hall.
