The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University will be hosting a Community Dialogue called “The Labor of Tourism: Migrants, Work, and Leisure in Atlantic City” on Monday, August 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. This event is free, open to the public and funded through the <a href="https://njmml.com/" target="_blank">NJ Monuments to Migration and Labor</a>, a <a href="https://www.mellon.org/article/the-monuments-project-initiative" target="_blank">Mellon Foundation Monuments Project</a> initiative. Dinner will be provided for participants. This will be an open discussion about migration, immigration stories, specifically to Atlantic City. Attendees are welcome to bring a family artifact related to their immigration story to this event. Attendees should expect an open discussion about migration and immigration stories (specifically to Atlantic City), led by community facilitators:- <a href="https://www.aahmsnj.org/about/our-founder/" target="_blank">Ralph Hunter</a>, Executive Director of the <a href="https://www.aahmsnj.org/" target="_blank">African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey</a>- Cindy Mullock, Executive Director of the <a href="https://www.harriettubmanmuseum.org/" target="_blank">Harriet Tubman Museum</a> Community Artists <a href="https://ndavisphoto.com/" target="_blank">Nastassia Davis</a> (Atlantic City) and <a href="https://chanellerene.com/" target="_blank">Chanelle René</a> (Cape May County) will be creating artwork based on the conversations, which will be displayed as a traveling exhibition throughout south Jersey.
