Join us for a magical evening under the stars at our unique wildlife sanctuary during our Mardi Gras themed "Nocturnal Nights" event!  This exclusive, adults-only affair is designed for nature lovers to unwind and connect with the nocturnal antics of our charming residents: opossums, skunks, and raccoons. (Teens 16 and older accompanied by their parent/guardian are welcome.) Here's what to expect: <ul><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">BYOB & Picnic: Bring your favorite bottle of wine, beer or other beverage, along with a picnic basket filled with your preferred snacks. Crocs unfortunately don't count as closed toe shoes since little animal fingers can grab through the holes AND they steal Croc charms. Raccoons love to steal jewelry, limit if possible bracelets and large earrings. They'll steal a scrunchie off your wrist if they can reach it. If you want to hold ambassador animals, we again encourage you to wear a top/shirt that is not crazy expensive, sentimental in value or something you'd be upset at getting snagged or peed on. These are actual risks. The animals will NOT be running about throughout the sanctuary. If you do not want to be in contact directly with them, you don't have to worry.  *Legal Stuff*To protect ourselves, we're limiting this event to adults 21 years of age and older OR if you are at least 16 years of age and you are accompanied by YOUR parent or legal guardian. You MAY be asked to show ID or proof of guardianship. If you do not have an ID or are not with a parent (ID required to prove relationship) you'll be asked to leave.
