ARE YOU DERBY CURIOUS? Ever thought about learning to play roller derby—or just want to learn how to roller skate? Whether you're lacing up for the first time or returning to wheels after a break, this series is for you! We’re offering two course levels running at the same time: one for beginners and one for intermediate skaters. In SKATER SCHOOL, you’ll build a solid foundation in skating skills like balance, stride technique, stopping methods, and safe falling. DERBY SCHOOL builds on those basics and introduces essential roller derby techniques like blocking, positional play, and pack work. Skaters will need to be assessed by one of our trainers before being cleared to participate in contact based drills.
