Science on Tap: Ice Cream Science!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for the science of ICE CREAM!

The University of Guelph's very own Professor Doug Goff, one of the world’s leading ice cream scientists, will share all the key science behind everyone's favorite summer-time treat! We will learn about the science behind smooth texture, how to recreate Haagen-Dazs-quality vanilla at home, and the hidden factors that determine how ice cream melts. 

And, of course, there will be trivia with a gift card from our friends at Royal City Brewing on the line.

The event will begin shortly after 7 pm and seating is first-come-first-served so get there early! Additional parking is available at 490 York Road.

Please consider making a small donation when you book your ticket(s). There will be supply costs for us to cover for this session and EVERY penny that you donate goes to help us in our goal of building a new science centre in southwestern Ontario.
