This 30th Anniversary Commemorative 0 Euro Banknote was issued to commemorate the founding of the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, in Foynes, Ireland. It was added to our collection of notes from Euro Note Gifts in 2019. A portion of the proceeds of sales of this note will go to support the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum in Foynes, Ireland.

This unique Commemorative 0 Euro Banknote recalls the 1952 Academy Award winning film, "The Quiet Man", and depicts the famous scene where John Wayne is carrying Maureen O'Hara. It was introduced in mid-2020 in commemoration of Ms. O'Hara Blair's 100th birthday. A portion of the proceeds of sales of this note will go to support the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum in Foynes, Ireland, where an important collection of Ms. O'Hara Blair's Hollywood memorabilia is housed.
