Purchased at the 2015 MichFest, (the final year of the festival) and worn on the land, this tank is size XL, very stretchy fabric, comfortable, good used condition. We think the bracelet is from MichFest 2007. This set of lesbian herstory was donated by Cheryl, with love and sisterhood. Cheryl, a longtime MichFest attendee and workshop-presenter, has also been the secretary and herstorian of Sisters of the Ferns since 2019.

Out of print and very hard to find, this piece of lesbian herstory provides a true peek into many of the discussions of the day through sections that include, “Be-Friending Our Selves: The Personal is Political” and “Beginnings of Our Consciousness: Defining Lesbian Separatism”. Published in 1988 by Onlywomen Press, and edited by Julia Penelope and Sarah Lucia-Hoagland, this worthwhile volume hosts a myriad of lesbian voices: Alix Dobkin; Elana Dykewomon; Joan Nestle; Lee Lynch; Marilyn Frye and Mary Daly to name only just a few. 600 pages, paperback, many, many more authors and articles. Ah the good ‘ole days! Another notable donation from Cheryl.

HANDMADE PLACE SETTING FOR 4. Created by Oregon craftswomon D. Ebony Labrys, this handmade set includes 4 double sided, quilted placemats & 4 double sided, quilted mug coasters. Each item has been embroidered with the Goddess of the Ferns symbol in my interpretation of the colors corresponding to Four Quarters of North (purple, because the green wouldn’t show up as well); East (yellow); South (red) and West (blue). The placemats measure at approx. 13” x 17”, and the mug coasters measure at approx. 5” x 5”. 100% cotton; machine washable; (cold setting is best).

Size small. Hand, and ethically made, earthy-colored print-- browns, black, oranges and golds; long, open. no buttons or ties, 100% rayon. Well kept and donated by Cheryl.

Tinctures are in 1 oz. eye dropper bottles, and were donated/made by former Sisters of the Ferns MotherBoard members Kaseja and Georgia. Each was prepared using potato vodka as the medium, so they are GMO free!! LAVENDER is good for sleep, anxiety, and trauma symptoms. PASSION FLOWER is good for anxiety, pain, sleep, and stress. MOTHERWORT is good for calming, grief, cramps, and gives courage. It's also good for peri menopausal symptoms. VALERIAN is good for pain, sleep, anxiety, cramps, PMS, and promotes calm.

The most widely distributed, free, lesbian magazine in the US, this special Women’s Music issue features photos and articles/blurbs about a number of MichFest and lesbian musicians, including God-Des and She, Nedra Johnson, The Ditty Bops, Sleater Kinney, Mz Fontaine, and others. Some bent pages, but otherwise in good shape. The TEAM STORMY T-SHIRT is black with rainbow lettering, size medium, good quality and condition. Purchased after the current US president was criminally indicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels in an attempt to buy her silence about their sexual encounter in 2006. AFGHAN WOMEN T-SHIRT is size Large; gray with neon orange lettering, very soft material. Purchased just before Afghanistan was taken over once again by the Taliban. Very good used condition. Features Alix Olson on the cover and includes an interview of Alix and articles by Robin Morgan, Susan Estrich, and other radical feminists we don’t hear much from anymore, a piece of radfem, lesbian, and women’s herstory to be sure!
