Our StoryIn 1975, local residents and businessmen came together to address the aging of San Marco Square, and more specifically, its aging fountain. The group anticipated future challenges and proactively led the formation of the San Marco Preservation Society (SMPS). Thus began its journey - first, fix the fountain; second, formulate a long-term plan to revitalize San Marco Square; and eventually, provide services to the entire neighborhood.&nbsp; Your StoryVolunteerism is not only at the heart of how we operate, but it&#39;s also how the organization began.
