Join us in this practical two-hour garden workshop to 'problem solve' for the season ahead. The workshop will be split into two 45 minute sessions with a coffee & informal chat in-between to share and connect with fellow gardeners.Professional landscape designer, Candy Venning, will guide us with thought provoking images on how to overcome assorted design issues. Learn tips to work with existing materials or 'Garden Bones' and add new interest with materials already on site to create an ecological space while maintaining a strongcohesive style. Starting with a series of solutions on various sites, Candy will share examples and discuss: 1) Sight lines, space and terrain 2) DEER & native plants 3) Structures, sculptures & stone 4) Water, life & magic! We will build an understanding of overcoming existing constraints to enhance the use, views and best materials to incorporate in the gardens to do so, including suggestions for plants, sculpture, structures and more.
