THIS TICKET IS FOR COMPETITORS ONLY. You are signing up to make 12 qts or ice cream, bring it to the Settlement, and serve it to your judges to find out at the end of the event if you've won!
Maximum of 2 representatives per Group. Please include the names of all assistants on application.
The 1st Place winning Competitor will receive a premium decal to display where they wish. They will also FREE vendor space at all *Barberville hosted* events thru the Sept 2025 year! There is no monetary prize for the Ice Cream Churn Off this year. Votes will be collected & then verified by our Settlement Attendants and the Winner will be announced before the end of the event.
Competitor must produce a minimum of 12 quart/3 gallon tub (20 quart/5 gallons is recommended) of ONE FLAVOR of ice cream AND provide a list of ingredients to be visibly posted at their station. Serving cups will be provided by Settlement staff and tasting portions should be no more than one ounce. Electricity will be provided, but extension cables are recommended.
All Competitors must be fully setup and ready to be judged by 11:00 am.
Judging is by public acclaim and will begin at 11:30 am until all ice cream has run out before 3pm.
Tallies will be counted immediately after judging has concluded and winners announced thereafter. Ideally, 2 representative(s) will be present to accept the award.
Placements will be awarded for 1st place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place
