Postponed from January, we're hosting this walk on Saturday 3/22/2025 at Peaksville Place.  There will be a volunteer work opportunity to help scrape and prepare the siding for a new coat of paint at the Old Country Store building at Peaksville Place. For the Cloverlea Foundation, the word of intention for 2025 is 'RELATIONSHIP'.  As we explore our relationship with nature, our community, our planet, and one another, we recognize that the many aspects of sustainability involve understanding the relationships around us. Join us for a Walk with Nature on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11am.  We'll meet on the Peaksville Place farm and gather for a brief discussion followed by a walk around the property.  Members of the Board of Directors of Cloverlea Foundation will share about our goals for 2025, and we'll discuss casually how sustainability is intertwined with the varied relationships around us and offer some topics for reflection while we walk.  Dress for the weather, as we'll be outdoors for the duration of the program. Peaksville Place is a beautiful property adjacent to Claytor Nature Center, and we'll be hosting programming here throughout 2025.  Registrants will be provided further details for directions and parking information. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the event will be postponed.
