WeCode KC presents game development with Scratch! The sky is the limit as we explore concepts in gaming and technology for a hands-on journey that merges fun, learning, and coding. This class is for students ages 7 - 12, and is designed to let young coders use visual-oriented block-based coding, which helps them understand how coding components create movement and fun. IMPORTANT! Students ages 7 - 12 are welcome to attend this class. If you are unsure if your student is ready, we recommend that students possess the following basic skills to succeed in our classes:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">able to use a computer keyboard and mouse</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">able to read and understand short sentences</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">able to sit still and focus for at least 45 minutes</li></ul>We aim to provide a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for every student who wants to learn.
