Help A Girl Out (HAGO) is an award-winning, federally registered not-for-profit organization focused on reducing the effects of poverty. Specifically, we aim to end 'period poverty' which affects a large percentage of Canadians and an even larger percentage of people in developing countries. We believe that period poverty is a solvable issue. Knowing the root causes, we've implemented numerous programs to address the stigma attached to menstruation, fill in the gender & inter-generational education gap and most importantly provide accessible and sustainable access to menstrual products. We are proud to express that we are working towards the UN's sustainable development goals; 1, 5 &12
