&nbsp;This is a personal invitation.I am Fartumo Kusow, the founder of the Sahra Bulle Foundation. Sahra was my daughter. She was a Somali woman living in Windsor, Ontario, and she was murdered by her husband. The institutions around her did not know how to protect her. They did not act in time.I built this foundation because silence was not something I could live with after losing her. The Circle of Giving is how I am asking you to help carry her story forward.I am looking for 40 people who will each contribute $250 &mdash; during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, October 2026. Together, that circle raises 10,000 &nbsp;to directly fund:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The annual #IAmSahraBulle Conference &mdash; bringing together 130+ community members each year to advance GBV education and institutional accountability.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Centre for Learning and Teaching &mdash; a physical space I am working to open in Windsor-Essex where marginalized women can walk through a door and find help navigating the court system, social services, and the institutions that are supposed to protect them.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Community courses, webinars, and the Break the Silence podcast &mdash; reaching over 30,000 people nationally with education that changes behaviour and saves lives.</li></ul>Every dollar stays in the work. No overhead. No bureaucracy.
