Fairview Community Association fosters community engagement and support for residents, focusing on programs for seniors, youth, and families. They aim to create a vibrant, inclusive environment through recreational activities and community events.

The Fairview Community Association 60+ Collective is pleased to offer a second year of Winter Watercolour Art Classes. &nbsp;The lessons will be on Friday mornings this year and it will be a 10 week program. Classes run from Friday &nbsp;January 9, 2026 through Friday March 13, 2026 This set of 10 classes is free for Fairview area seniors. &nbsp;The donation request that will pop up is purely optional - not required - but always appreciated. :-) A paint kit is included for each student. The Fairview Community Association 55+ Collective is pleased to offer a new free event for our local Fairview Seniors. &nbsp;Along with JJ Golf (7825 Flint Road SE - jjgolf.ca), we will host an Indoor Virtual Golf intro event to gauge the interest of group. &nbsp; We will start with space for 8 people (2 groups in 2 Virtual Golf Simulator rooms) for this intro event. &nbsp;If there is enough interest, we will consider setting up a weekly league. This event will be free for Fairview Seniors (55+). &nbsp; Registration Deadline is Mon Jan 19, 2026

Fairview Community Association - 60+ Collective - Summer 2025 GolfOn July 7th our second annual golf trip to Lakeview Golf Course is taking place. We are going with an earlier start this year to beat the heat. &nbsp;We have room for 20 people (5 tee times) Tee times will begin at 9:00 am, running every 10 minutes. &nbsp;Last tee time is 9:40AM Please note: we will not be supplying transportation to and from Lakeview this year. Power carts are available on a first come first serve basis.&nbsp; When you signup for your tee time, please choose whether you have your own clubs or will need to rent a set and whether left or right hand.&nbsp; This event is free to Fairview Community Seniors. 60+ Collective 2025 Summer Golf

Pickle Perfect Coaching is heading to Fairview&#39;s Sparking Lot on Sunday June 29, 2025. &nbsp;There will be 2 separate sessions with 8 people per session:&nbsp;&nbsp;- Session 1 at 9:00AM&nbsp;- Session 2 at 11:30AM&nbsp;You only need to select a ticket for one of the two sessions. &nbsp;You will need to complete the registration separately for each person. DescriptionIf you&#39;re brand new to pickleball or just getting the hang of it, this intro session is designed just for you. We&#39;ll be kicking things off bright and early at 9:00 am sharp, and we&#39;ve got space for just 8 participants per session, so don&#39;t miss out! (16 people total across the 2 sessions)&nbsp;This program is fantastic for anyone eager to step onto the pickleball court for the very first time, as well as for novice players wanting to polish their skills. You&#39;ll learn solid pickleball basics and techniques while having a blast! We&#39;ll cover everything from Pickleball Rules &amp; Scoring to Correct technique, Serve &amp; Return, and more. This event is free to Fairview Community 60+ seniors New this year, we are using the Zeffy service for online sales. &nbsp;Zeffy is free to us as a not for profit society. &nbsp;They are able to provide this generous service through &quot;tips&quot; gathered on our transactions. &nbsp; - During the checkout process, you will be asked for a donation - that donation is to Zeffy and covers the cost of the service for us. &nbsp;You can change the amount or make it zero, it is completely your choice.&nbsp; Thank you in advance for supporting the Fairview Community Association and our service provider Zeffy.&nbsp;

We are trying something new for Fairview Community Association targeting adult community members. &nbsp;We are offering a discounted indoor virtual golf event to test interest for &quot;Adults&quot; to get out early to kick off the 2026 golf season, on your choice of beautiful golf courses from around the globe, on a spring Saturday evening. &nbsp; JJ Golf is a new Virtual Golf facility in our area, just off Flint Road (7825 Flint Road SE Calgary).
