Parkinson's Walking Soccer Demo Day 2026

This fun and engaging day will include coaching and training, friendly mixed Canada–England games, exhibition matches and opportunities to meet and talk with players living with Parkinson’s from both countries. It will also provide an opportunity to learn more about the potential of walking soccer as an inclusive, community-based approach to physical activity, wellbeing and connection for people living with Parkinson’s. We are honoured to welcome the England Parkinson’s Walking Soccer Men’s and Women’s National Teams to Toronto. Their visit marks the official launch of Parkinson’s United™ and celebrates the growing international connection between the walking soccer communities in Canada and England. The festival will bring together people living with Parkinson’s, families and carers, healthcare professionals, researchers, Parkinson’s organisations, sports organisations and community leaders. This isn't simply a soccer event. It is about changing perceptions of what is possible after a Parkinson’s diagnosis — and building something that can have a lasting impact across Canada.
